Rev. Andrew Tung
Cantonese Pastor

I was born in Malaysia. As a young child I moved with my parents to Hong Kong. At age 14, my family made another move to Sydney, Australia, where I have lived ever since. My family background was not Christian, so I only came to know Christ while studying at Sydney University.
In 2007, I responded to God’s call and began my theological training at Moore College. I came to serve at GCPC (then located at Burwood) as a student minister and continued as a pastor after graduation. I met my wife at GCPC and we married in 2013. God has given us two sons, Eusebius and Eleos.
In the first few years of my ministry at GCPC, I established the Mandarin ministry, serving migrants from Mainland China. My ministry now focuses on Cantonese people and my responsibilities include preaching, Bible teaching and pastoring family groups.
